<p>TRENDANALYTIKER</p>
<p><strong>Arbetsbeskrivning<br />
</strong>NINE söker en trendanalytiker som ska driva affärsområdet Future Research. Affärsområdet Future Research är ett av NINEs fyra affärsområden och bedriver olika typer av kvalitativa trendanalysprojekt, både som fristående researchuppdrag samt som en del i alla design- och innovationsprojekt. Vi arbetar främst med etnografiska metoder men även med mer traditionell trendspaning. Som trendanalytiker leder du eller levererar i alla typer av projekt med inriktning på insikter om konsumtion, värderingar och livsstilar. Tjänsten innebär även att aktivt arbeta med utveckling och försäljning inom affärsområdet, initiera projektidéer, planera och leda seminarier och workshops, hålla i budget och kundpresentationer, driva vårt internationella nätverk av trendscouter samt att utveckla vår blogg om konsumenttrender.</p>
<p><strong>Utbildning &amp; profil<br />
</strong>Du har universitetsutbildning inom antingen humaniora och/eller samhällskunskap/ekonomi gärna med erfarenhet av etnografisk metod. Du har arbetat minst 4-6 år inom relevant område, talar och skriver flytande engelska. Du trivs på ett företag där egna initiativ och självständighet värdesätts, du är driven, kreativ och analytisk samt duktig på både muntliga och skriftliga presentationer.</p>
<p><strong>Tillträde</strong><br />
Anställningen är ett vikariat från och med mitten av april 2012 till och med 1 januari 2013 men ambitionen är att den ska övergå i en fast anställning i takt med att bolaget och affärsområdet växer.</p>

<p><strong>Kort om rollen<br />
</strong></p>
<p>NINE växer och söker nu en senior strateg och projektledare med gedigen erfarenhet från arbete inom FMCG. Vi har behov av någon som är etablerad och senior i konsultrollen, även när det gäller att sälja konsulttjänster och driva små som stora komplexa kundprojekt.</p>
<p>I vår dagliga verksamhet hjälper vi kunder med designutveckling av såväl kända produkter och varumärken, som att lansera nya produkter, förändra en kategori eller åstadkomma differentiering genom innovativa förpackningar. Vi arbetar tätt med kunder på flera plan, från ledningsgrupper och marknadsanalytiker till produktion och KAM-personer. Detta gör arbetet väldigt spännande, men bjuder också på många utmaningar som kunderna behöver vår hjälp för att lösa på nya sätt. En styrka är vår egna avdelning för Future research, där vi skaffar oss själva och kunder nya insikter om konsumenters drivkrafter och strävan för framtiden.</p>
<p><strong>Den vi söker&#8230;<br />
</strong></p>
<p>Du ska känna dig hemma i att vägleda våra uppdragsgivare till rätt strategi för varumärket där utfallet varierar mellan mindre designprojekt till att sätta en ny varumärkesplattform eller att utveckla ett helt nytt affärskoncept.  I rollen ingår att vårda och utveckla 1-2 av våra större konton, men också att aktivt arbeta med vår affärsutvecklingsansvarige för bolagets framtida tillväxt.</p>
<p>Du gillar att projektleda den kreativa processen, och drivs av att finna rätt lösningar för att kunna utveckla uppdragsgivarens affär på bästa sätt.  På NINE innebär lösningarna allt ifrån en skräddarsydd etnografisk konsument studie (som drivs av vårt Future Research team) till en ny varumärkesplattform för ett känt varumärke, med ny identitet och såväl strukturell som grafisk förpackningsutveckling som följd.</p>
<p>Du är van att presentera för, lyssna in och övertyga befattningshavare på alla nivåer inom Nordisk FMCG-sektor.  Erfarenhet från pan-Europeiska företag är önskvärt men inte ett krav.</p>
<p>Uppfyller minst en kravlista som innehåller</p>
<ul>
<li>Mer än 7 års erfarenhet som projektledare inom reklam/strategi/design alternativt från kundsidan som Brand Manager eller liknande.</li>
<li>Gärna civilekonom eller motsvarande utbildningsnivå inom marknadsföring/kommunikation/strategi</li>
<li>Resultatinriktad – nå mål inom tidsramar</li>
<li>God relationsskapare, utåtriktad och professionell</li>

<p>In the article titled &#8220;<a href="http://www.sydsvenskan.se/ekonomi/article1599384/Framtidens-konsument-blandar-vilt.html" target="_blank">Framtidens konsumenter blandar vilt</a>&#8221; (Future consumers mix in a wild way&#8221;) five key consumer trends identified by NINE are presented. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NINE majority owner Billerud presents strong earnings and very strong cash flow. The comments by Billerud’s CEO Per Lindberg includes recognition of our handsomely awarded Carlsberg project:<strong></strong></p>
<p>“Billerud can deliver yet another strong result for the third quarter with an operating margin of 13%. Cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK 531 million, which is very strong. Operating profit for the quarter of SEK 296 million means that earnings for the third quarter were just as strong as in the previous quarters in 2011. This was achieved despite periodic maintenance and market-related shutdowns. So the weaker market situation during the quarter was not reflected in the figures. In the packaging paper segments, we maintained the price level in local currency, but in the latter part of the third quarter we felt some price pressure from the market.</p>
<p>Our work to strengthen Billerud’s brand as “The Natural Part in Smarter Packaging” was launched when Billerud opened NASDAQ OMX in New York on 26 September. This clarifies our position as a more customer- and solutions-oriented company and we offer packaging manufacturers and brand owners clear added value with brand-strengthening, productivity-boosting and environment-enhancing packaging solutions.</p>
<p>During the quarter we also earned recognition in the form of the packaging world’s finest design award, Pentawards Best of the Show, which went to NINE, Billerud’s innovation and design agency, as well as Design Challenge 2011 at the largest packaging fair in the Nordic region which was won by Chesapeake’s new Impressions™ packaging range based on Billerud FibreForm®.</p>
<p>Even though the current market situation is uncertain, I view the future with great confidence. We feel well equipped to deal with the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NINE is very proud to present the latest collaboration with Carlsberg Sverige; the new identity for another swedish beverage icon – Falcon.</p>
<p>The new identity brings back the proud falcon and infuses attitude and personality to the brand.  Our ambition has been to find the key Falcon brand carriers in reference to its target group, some of the emotional recall lost in the process of several re-designs.  Thorough consumer research (qualitative as well as quantitative) has clearly shown that the consumers like the &#8220;new&#8221; Falcon. Needless to say we will be following the sales numbers with great interest!</p>
<p>The new design was developed in close cooperation with the Carlsberg team, the first units featuring the new design to be introduced on the market are; Falcon Export and Falcon Bayerskt, they are available at Systembolaget from October 2011. Watch lead designer Carl Larsson being <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tueqHuzQy1A&amp;feature=youtube_gdata_player" target="_blank">interviewed</a> (in Swedish) about the project.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NINE and Carlsberg was awarded the prestigious Diamond Pentaward &#8211; Best of Show &#8211; in a ceremony in New York last night. The Pentawards is being held for the  fifth year in a row, with prizes awarded in platinum, gold, silver and  bronze categories, plus a diamond (best of the show) award to the best  entry in all categories. <p><em>The Pentawards has as its mission the global promotion of packaging design. According to Brigitte Evrard, Pentawards co-founder, &#8220;Packaging design is a very demanding and difficult discipline, as it is subject to the laws of a market more and more focused on cost reduction and short-term profitability. Packaging designers must often do a lot with a little. The goal of the Pentawards is to reward designs originating from all markets, from mass-market to luxury.&#8221;</em></p>
<p>To facilitate this, the awards are structured in six broad categories that group together more than 50 sub-categories. The fifth edition of the awards attracted nearly <strong>1,000 entries</strong> from <strong>51 countries</strong>, with winners receiving their Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond Pentawards yesterday in New York City. All the winners will be exhibited at the DesignPackGallery (Paris) in January 2012. Taschen will also publish the second edition of The Package Design Book, this time containing all the winners from 2011 and 2012. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What&#8217;s the latest trends in London&#8217;s world of food consumption? That was the question underlying a recent project where NINE arranged a trend trip to London for a group from The Skåne Food Innovation Network (<a href="http://www.livsmedelsakademin.se/" target="_blank">Skånes Livsmedelsakademi</a>) on 21-22nd of September 2011.</p>
<p>The group are presenting the results from the trip at <a href="http://www.livsmedelsakademin.se/press-nyheter?nyhet=8980" target="_blank"><em>Skånes Livsmedelsakademis Dag</em></a> on 29th of September 2011 &#8211; a meeting point for people from the whole food industry in southern Sweden.</p>
<p>NINE prepared the content for the two days and also arranged expert meetings for the group with Kate Bull, one of the founders of the much talked about food cooperative <a href="http://www.thepeoplessupermarket.org/" target="_blank">The People&#8217;s Supermarket</a>, <a href="http://www.morgainegaye.com/" target="_blank">Morgaine Gaye</a>, a British food futurologist and the founders of <a href="http://foodity.com/" target="_blank">Foodity</a>, an award winning start-up company offering technological solutions for food oriented web pages.</p>
